Keith Olbermann doesn't vote?

"It's the only thing I can do that suggests even that I don't have a horse in the race."

"I know it's very idiosyncratic, but I would feel just a little hesitation, just a little drag on the airflow, if I went to criticize somebody, especially a president, for whom I had voted,"

-          Keith Olbermann

Olbermann, who acknowledged the contributions in a statement to POLITICO, made the maximum legal donations of $2,400 apiece to Conway and to Arizona Reps. Raul Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords. He donated to the Arizona pair on Oct. 28 — the same day that Grijalva appeared as a guest on Olbermann’s “Countdown” show.

As elite members of Talk_Politics we are not unbiased journalist so I ask my American counterparts; did you vote on 11-2?

Do you believe in the American Myth of the unbiased journalist? Should journalism be unbiased? Can it? Do you respect Olbermann more or less because he ‘strives’ to show how unbiased he is by forgoing his responsibility as a citizen to vote?

I think Olbermann buys into the myth and that disapoints me. To thine own self be true (The Bard- Spear Shaker) .

Keith Olbermann has been suspended indefinitely without pay from MSNBC for making donations to three Democrats in violation of NBC's ethics policy.

"I became aware of Keith's political contributions late last night," Phil Griffin, President of MSNBC, said in a statement. "Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay."

Clearly Phil Griffin read this today on my post. So which one of you is Phil? I want a job.
