Kyrie Irving believes the Earth is flat
"This is not even a conspiracy theory," Irving said during the podcast. "The Earth is flat. What I've been taught is that the earth is round. But if you really think about it from a landscape of the way we travel, the way we move and the fact that, can you really think of us rotating around the sun and all planets aligned, rotating in specific dates, being perpendicular with what's going on with these planets?"
"I just found that out," Irving said while laughing. "I think people should do their own research, man. Then hopefully they will either back my belief or they will throw it in the water."
Astonishing. And he spent at least an hour or two inside a Duke University lecture hall. Actually, grade school should have taken care of this. Maybe the problem is the flat world map on the wall, instead of a round globe spinning on the teacher's desk? Do teachers still keep a globe on the desk?
We all know the globe is a hoax, on the other hand. Right? Probably placed in the classrooms by the aliens. Can't be otherwise. Connect the dots, you sheeple! The government has been hoaxing you for years, duh!
But seriously. People are such dumbasses. It's one thing to believe in conspiracies, it's quite another to completely disregard proven science. What's amazing is he asks people to "do their own research", while obviously he has done zero. Idiot.
And you know what the biggest irony is? It's that he said this while on an airplane. Look out the window you moron, you can see the curvature of the Earth from your First Class seat. Millennials. They are so wrapped up in fiction, conspiracies, and a need to be different.
Okay then Kyrie, do your research then. I bet if you walked far enough you'd just fall off the planet at the edges. Perhaps you'd do yourself a favor.
Einsein once said there are two things that are infinite, human stupidity and the Universe (although he wasn't sure about the former). I know at least two things that are flat. His brain, and Trump's toupee. It's exactly this type of nonsensical "thinking" that leads to things like Trump.
