The limits of populism?

After the great performance of the Eurosceptic party in Finland (finished 2nd with 17%), this might sound a bit off, but it seems the triumph of the populist fringe movements across Europe is nearing its peak - and the limits of its potential, respectively. What must follow after that, is only a downturn.

Greece alone has seen its huge economic problems bringing the far-left Syriza party to the fore, but, given all their current trouble, it's not surprising that the latest indications are that their popularity is waning. According to most polls, the radical parties will hardly grab the reins in any other country within the EU.
